Jonathan Gresham & Tomohiro Ishii Matches Added To IMPACT Rebellion
IMPACT have opened up the ‘forbidden door’ for Rebellion
The real ‘forbidden door’ has opened up once again, as IMPACT have announced several new matches for their upcoming Rebellion PPV, as ROH Original World Champion Jonathan Gresham, and NJPW’s ‘Stone Pitbull’ Tomohiro Ishii are set to feature on the show.
Ishii is set to take on JONAH, with ‘The Top Dog’ throwing out a challenge the CHAOS heavy hitter on the March 24 edition of IMPACT Wrestling. Before the two lock-up, Ishii is set to make his IMPACT debut at the forthcoming Multiverse of Matches event over WrestleMania weekend.
Gresham made his IMPACT return on the March 24 IMPACT Wrestling, aiding CHAOS’ Rocky Romero after Romero was beaten down by Eddie Edwards following a singles bout between the two. Gresham stepped up to former ROH World Champion Edwards, with the two at odds following Honor No More’s invasion of IMPACT.
Gresham will take on Edwards at Rebellion, but it has not been revealed whether the ROH Original World Title will be on the line, with Gresham set to face Bandido in a winner takes all match at ROH Supercard of Honor XV on April 1.
