Jonathan Gresham Reveals When He Discovered ROH Was Being Sold To Tony Khan

Current ROH World Champion and PROGRESS World Champion Jonathan Gresham has spoken to WrestleTalk about learning of Tony Khan's purchase of Ring of Honor. 

“I found out about Tony Khan buying Ring of Honor with the rest of the world. I was in a hotel room in Ireland and I got a phone call from a colleague that told me what was going on online. Because I kinda stay off social media for long periods of time, so it was told to me by a colleague and I was just as shocked as everybody else.

“I’m still wrestling around the world, defending the Ring of Honor World Championship, as you can see from tonight, winning other championships from around the world. For me right now, that is my goal – to prove not only to myself but the rest of the world that I am what I say I am, and that is the best wrestler in the world."

Gresham recently won the wXx 16 Carat Gold Tournament in Germany, and is set to face Bandido at Supercard of Honor in Dallas, Texas over WrestleMania weekend. The winner will be regarded as the undisputed ROH World Champion, as Bandido feels he never truly lost the belt.
