Josh Alexander Makes A Statement On His Injury

Josh Alexander Has Spoken To Fans About His Recent Injury

Josh Alexander was unfortunately forced into relinquishing his hold on the IMPACT World Championship over the last week due to an injury, revealing a torn triceps. Alexander has taken to Twitter to give an update to fans regarding his injury;

"Thank you to all who reached out. For anyone who's ever taken the time to support & bought a ticket to see me do what I love. I appreciate all the support more than I can even put into words. It's time for me to give back. Next time you see me I'll be better than ever."

Alexander went on to say that he was taking some away from social media to focus on both himself and his family. Alexander had been IMPACT World Champion for 335 days after defeating Moose at the 2022 Rebellion event, and didn’t look likely to drop the gold any time soon. A new champion will be decided at the 2023 Rebellion PPV in a match between KUSHIDA and Steve Maclin.
