Juice Robinson Says He Won't Be Defending IWGP US Title At NJPW Dominion

IWGP US Champion Juice Robinson says he won't be at NJPW Dominion

IWGP US Champion Juice Robinson has said he will not be defending the title at NJPW Dominion on June 12.

Cutting a promo via a video posted to NJPW’s YouTube channel, the Bullet Club member said he will not be in Osaka to face off against SANADA and Will Ospreay in three-way action, claiming he is suffering from acute appendicitis.

Juice is still being advertised for the bout on Sunday, and the fact the video was released via NJPW’s official channels, and the fact the match has not been pulled and there has been no official statement from New Japan suggests this is all part of an angle, and that Robinson is indeed likely to appear at Dominion.

Robinson is currently in the midst of his record tying third reign with the IWGP US Championship, winning the belt in a four-way at NJPW Capitol Collision on May 14 in Washington, DC. Robinson returned to NJPW only weeks before his title win after teasing retirement, joining Bullet Club upon his re-emergence.
