Kairi Sane Returns To Stardom

Now KAIRI

Kairi Sane has returned to World Wonder Ring Stardom.

The former NXT Women's Champion won't use her old Kairi Hojo name, though, and she will be billed as KAIRI moving forward.

KAIRI's return to Stardom was announced at a press conference today and she will compete at the promotion's upcoming shows at Ryogoku Kokugikan on March 26 and March 27.

KAIRI was interrupted at the press conference by Unagi Sayaka and Tam Nakano and the former WWE star revealed she would be interested in a tag team match against them. The former Sane revealed she wanted to team with Mayu Iwatani in that match.

The 33-year-old then posed for photos, only to be attacked by Stardom's Oedo Tai faction.

Sane was previously signed with WWE but her contract expired this month. WWE reportedly wanted to extend her deal but KAIRI had no interest in returning to the United States to wrestle.

Prior to joining WWE in 2017, KAIRI performed for Stardom for six years and cemented herself as one of the company's top stars.

She is a former World Of Stardom, Artist Of Stardom, Wonder Of Stardom, and Goddess Of Stardom Champion.
