Kane Leaving The Door Open For In-Ring Return

It's unlikely, but 'never say never'...

Will we ever see Kane in a WWE ring again?

The man behind the mask, Glenn Jacobs, recently spoke about the prospect during an interview with David Gornoski.

"I am probably not getting in the ring. I watch it now and I'm amazed at how athletic everybody is. I don't think my body can take that kind of punishment anymore, you know? We always say never say never. So I leave the door open to many different things," Jacobs said.

The Big Red Machine made similar comments about potentially wrestling again during an interview last year, noting that he wants to be involved with WWE for the rest of his life in some capacity.

The 56-year-old last wrestled in the 2021 men's Royal Rumble match. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame two months later.

Jacobs is currently in his second term as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, having been re-elected in August 2022.

His most recent on-camera appearance for the company took place at SummerSlam 2022, where he announced the show's attendance and delivered his signature taunt with pyro prior to the main event.
