Karl Anderson Pushing For WWE Singles Run

Karl Anderson wants a solo run in WWE

Despite being primarily known as a tag team specialist, Karl Anderson is also an accomplished singles wrestler, with the O.C. Member having an impressive singles run during his time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Since returning to WWE with Luke Gallows in 2022, the two have mainly competed in the tag division, but during an interview with Ryan Satin on Out of Character, ‘The Machine Gun’ revealed that he wants more singles matches in WWE:

"Yeah, I don't know why I wasn't in the Money in the Bank match. I'm down. Let's get this rocking. AJ is the World Champion, Gallows can be the heater, and throw me in the ladder match. I'm dying for it. It's just more about timing and waiting for the right story. I'm pushing for it. I hope for it," said Anderson.

In New Japan, Anderson is a one-time NEVER Openweight Champion, and made the finals of the 2012 G1 Climax Tournament, defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi before losing to Kazuchika Okada in the final itself.
