Karrion Kross: Facing Jeff Hardy In WWE Was A Career Highlight

Kross lost to Hardy on his WWE Raw debut

Karrion Kross has described working with Jeff Hardy as a 'career highlight' and admits neither of the two wrestlers knew WWE would give Hardy back the 'No More Words' theme before their first match on WWE Raw.

Hardy, who was released by WWE on Thursday, was Kross' first opponent on the main roster back in July with the two facing on the first episode of Raw back in front of a live audience.

The match was notable in that Hardy ended Kross' undefeated run in WWE but also saw the return of the Charismatic Enigma's 'No More Words' song for his entrance.

A fan noted on social media that Kross was unable to hide his reaction to the theme as it hit and the former NXT Champion - himself released by WWE in November - has admitted it was a highlight for him to have the chance to work with Hardy while revealing it hadn't been confirmed Hardy was getting his old theme back.

Writing on Twitter, Kross said: "This may surprise a lot of people but honestly- working with Jeff was a career highlight for me. Grew up buying all his shirts, love him as a human being. Had a ton of fun working house shows with him too.

"Him & I were hoping they'd play that song as he requested it back for fans."
