Karrion Kross Originally Booked To Lose Again On WWE Raw

It was almost another tough week for Kross

Karrion Kross' main roster run was originally set to go from bad to worse.

The Herald Of Doomsday made his Monday Night Raw debut last week, but instead of being presented as a dominant monster like in NXT, Kross was defeated by Jeff Hardy within 90 seconds after the former WWE Champion used the ropes.

As previously noted, Kross and Hardy were scheduled to go one on one again on the July 26 edition of Raw but the match was scrapped after The Charismatic Enigma tested positive for COVID-19. That match wouldn't have featured Kross getting revenge, though, as Fightful Select reported the NXT Champion was scheduled to lose to Hardy again on the show.

The decision reportedly baffled several members of the creative team and many WWE wrestlers, who were confused about why Kross was booked to lose once, never mind two weeks in a row.

The match ultimately didn't go ahead, though, and Kross earned his first victory on Raw against Keith Lee instead.
