Karrion Kross may soon be done with WWE.
Kross returned to the company back in August 2022 as the two-time NXT Champion and Scarlett signed three-year deals. According to Fightful Select, a WWE higher-up has said that Kross and Scarlett's contracts are due to expire this coming weekend and they have not been offered new deals by the company. It is not believed that Kross and Scarlett have been told their contracts will be allowed to lapse, however.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett have established themselves as popular performers on WWE programming over the past several months, with Kross on the receiving end of a groundswell of support from fans which even played out on the SummerSlam post-show as fans chanted "We want Kross" at WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque. Triple H interpreted the chants as support for Brock Lesnar, but Kross acknowledged the fans, writing: "Unreal. They write the scripts… But the fans write the truth. Thank you, Tick tock."
The support for Kross did lead to two pay-per-view matches for the former Killer Kross in 2025, but he lost to Sami Zayn at both events in Night of Champions and SummerSlam.
