Kaun Confirms AEW Signing
The Gates of Agony are seemingly 'All Elite'
May 9, 2022
After the original Ring of Honor went on hiatus in Q1 2022, fans wondered what would happen to the former contracted talents who were let go at the end of 2021.
One name of which was Kaun, but the former Shane Taylor Promotions heavy hitter returned to the company at Supercard of Honor 2022, with Kaun recently telling the Jobber Tears podcast that he is officially signed with AEW/ROH:
“It’s interesting, right? [Being on this current journey without Shane Taylor Promotions] This is a business, so after my time [in ROH came to an end], it was like what’s next in store for me? And I took the opportunity with AEW. I look at that as a step up and then you go there and you find out you’re [a part] of Ring of Honor and it’s like, oh that’s cool… it’s different though. I think for me… I have a contract, so, I’m excited.”
Kaun formed an alliance with Toa Liona, Brian Cage, and Tully Blanchard at Supercard of Honor, with reports suggesting that Liona and Kaun - aka The Gates of Agony - had officially signed with the company. Liona went on record in April saying he had signed, and now it seems Kaun has confirmed it too... despite no customary 'All Elite' graphic on social media.
