Kayla Braxton Officially Says Goodbye To WWE

Kayla Braxton is no longer with WWE

The June 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown in Madison Square Garden marked the final night of Kayla Braxton’s 8 year stay in WWE. She announced last week that she would be leaving the company, noting that she wanted to take what she learned during her time in WWE and use it on a different career path.

WWE gave Braxton a goodbye in front of the crowd when the show went off air, as Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes offered some kind words in bidding her farewell. Following this, Braxton sent out a message to fans on Instagram.

“I’m so overwhelmed. So thankful. Wow. I still can’t put what last night meant to me into words. But to have @americannightmarecody buying me out into MSG to bid my farewell to all of you while @tripleh and members of my WWE family were waiting for me in the back to congratulate me … I couldn’t have asked for a better goodbye. This family is truly special and I plan to always be a part of it. I love you all more than you know.”

Despite reports of Braxton holding talks with AEW, she strongly denied this and said that she would not leave somewhere like WWE to remain in the professional wrestling world.
