Kenn Doane Rejoins WWE As Performance Center Coach

Kenny Dykstra is back with WWE

Former WWE Superstar Kenn "Kenny Dykstra" Doane has rejoined WWE as a Performance Center coach, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Doane has been working at the training facility in Orlando, Florida for the past several weeks.

The 35-year-old previously worked for WWE from 2003 until 2008. He would enjoy a sustained run on Monday Night Raw in 2006 as a member of the Spirit Squad, becoming a one-time World Tag Team Champion before the faction disbanded in November of 2006.

Dykstra was repackaged as a singles wrestler in 2007 and he continued to perform on WWE TV until his release in 2008. Doane would then return to WWE in 2016 alongside Nicky as the Spirit Squad during former Spirit Squad member Dolph Ziggler's feud with The Miz in 2016.

Outside of WWE, Doane also made appearances for MLW, ROH and various independent wrestling promotions, including Beyond Wrestling.

He retired from wrestling earlier this year, five years earlier than planned, after "smart investments" paid off.
