Kenny Omega Fails To Win An AEW PPV Match In Almost 400 Days

Kenny Omega isn't having much luck on AEW PPV

Kenny Omega's woes on All Elite Wrestling pay-per-views continued at WrestleDream on October 1 as The Golden Jets of Omega, Chris Jericho, and Kota Ibushi failed to score the victory in a Trios Match against Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, and Sammy Guevara of the Don Callis Family.

Kenny Omega has spent much of the past year on the losing side and one of AEW's top stars hasn't actually won a pay-per-view match in almost 400 days. Omega's last win on AEW pay-per-view came back at All Out on September 4, 2022, when Kenny and The Young Bucks defeated Hangman Page, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds to become the inaugural AEW World Trios Champions.

After being suspended in the aftermath of Brawl Out, Omega and The Young Bucks tried to regain the AEW World Trios Titles from Death Triangle at Full Gear 2022 but The Elite lost at that pay-per-view too. The Best Bout Machine then enjoyed some success on TV as The Elite won back the trios belts in a Best-of-Seven series with Death Triangle, only to then lose the titles to House of Black at Revolution 2023.

Omega's fortunes failed to improve at Double or Nothing as The Elite lost an Anarchy in the Arena Match to Blackpool Combat Club before Omega then dropped the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship to Will Ospreay in June at Forbidden Door.

From there, Omega didn't win at either All In or All Out. He was pinned at All In by Konosuke Takeshita in a Trios Match that saw Omega team with Hangman Page and Kota Ibushi against Takeshita and Bullet Club Gold's Jay White and Juice Robinson. Omega was then defeated in singles action by Konosuke Takeshita one week later at All Out.
