Kenny Omega Vs. Will Ospreay Teased For AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door

Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega have had several online spats over the last year and their latest interaction teased a match for the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view between NJPW and AEW.

After Ospreay mentioned he would pay homage to a wrestler who impacted his career at Wrestling Dontaku, Omega replied, tweeting in jest: "You're making it way too obvious, but thanks, I guess."

Ospreay quickly turned his attention to Forbidden Door, though, asking Omega: "You gonna be alright for June?"

Omega simply replied with a GIF from Curb Your Enthusiasm of Larry David saying, "Eh. We'll see," hinting he may be able to go one-on-one with the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion at the June 26 pay-per-view.

A match between Ospreay and Omega has been repeatedly teased and although they were in NJPW together, they have only had one singles bout, which took place at PWG All Star Weekend 11 in 2015. 

Omega is currently out of action as he recovers from several injuries. He last wrestled at November's Full Gear event when he dropped the AEW World Championship to Hangman Page.
