Key AEW Backstage Figure Largely Steps Away

A key backstage figure in AEW has reportedly taken a step back from the company

A major backstage figure in All Elite Wrestling is believed to have ‘largely stepped away’ from their duties in the company.

Per a report from Fightful Select, AEW Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh is believed to have taken a step back from her duties in AEW, with it believed that Parekh is instead focused on matters related to a stadium deal for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The report notes that there’s been no clarification on whether Parekh has officially had a title or role change within AEW, but Chris Peck has largely taken over Parekh’s duties within AEW. It is also noted that Parekh was not at AEW All In in London’s Wembley Stadium in August, nor was Parekh involved in the disciplinary committee that concerned CM Punk’s firing from the company.

Parekh was reportedly in the middle of the Brawl Out incident at AEW All Out 2022, with it believed that The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, were accompanied by Parekh when they went to confront CM Punk over his comments in the post-show media scrum.
