The UFC Lightweight Champion posted a very interesting tweet earlier today.

UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has implied on social media that WWE have offered him some sort of deal.
While it's not yet clear how serious the tweet is, WWE have definitely shown an interest in MMA stars over recent years - most notably the quick rise of Ronda Rousey and the return (and dominance) of Brock Lesnar.

Nurmagomedov is in a place of particular fame and notoriety right now, having defeated Conor McGregor at UFC 229. Both fighters have since been suspended due to the aftermath of the fight, which saw Nurmagomedov jump the Octagon and attack a member of McGregor's team, while the Irishman was involved in an altercation inside the cage.
Khabib defeated McGregor by submission in the fourth round of their five round main event, forcing his opponent to tap out with a neck crank. This improved the champion's overall record to 27-0, an undefeated run built on a foundation of amateur wrestling ability and ferocious ground-based offence.
Nurmagomedov's tweet also makes mention of Brock Lesnar, a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. The pair would be very unlikely to face in mixed martial arts competition given their massive weight difference, and with Lesnar rumoured to be returning to UFC soon, it's likely Khabib wasn't being entirely serious here.
WWE's track record certainly implies an interest in the biggest stars of the MMA world. As well as the success of Rousey, a returning Lesnar, and others such as Shayna Baszler, they were rumoured at one stage to have been in talks with McGregor himself.
