Kon Signs Multi-Year Deal With IMPACT Wrestling

Kon sticking with IMPACT

Kon - AKA former WWE talent Konnor - has signed a multi-year deal with IMPACT Wrestling.

The 42-year-old initially debuted in IMPACT back in February of 2022, losing a squash match to Josh Alexander. He then lost a more competitive match to Eddie Edwards on Before the IMPACT before returning to IMPACT in November, joining The Design with Angels. The group is now composed of Deaner, Kon, Angels, and Sami Callihan.

Kon credited IMPACT with helping him find his passion for pro wrestling again, telling PWTorch: "IMPACT Wrestling has rejuvenated me. It helped me find that passion again. It has given me so much so I feel like I owe it back to this profession that I love so much."

Most will know Kon from his second WWE run where he performed as Konnor alongside Viktor as The Ascension. They were the fourth NXT Tag Team Champions, holding the belts for 364 days. They were booked as an undercard tag team upon moving to the main roster before Konnor and Viktor were released in 2019.
