Konosuke Takeshita AEW Excursion To End Soon

Konosuke Takeshita will head back to Japan soon

Konosuke Takeshita's excursion to the United States is coming to an end and the 27-year-old announced on Twitter following Monday's episode of Dark: Elevation that he will return to Japan for DDT Pro-Wrestling's Peter Pan event.

"Your support really encouraged me!! I have to go back to Japan at the DDT big show on August 20. I don't have much time left in the US. I hope to come back to here soon and I hope you all feel the same way," Takeshita tweeted.

Takeshita's latest US excursion began back in April and he has competed for All Elite Wrestling and on the independent wrestling scene, endearing himself to fans.

Within AEW, the DDT star has had several high-profile matches against the likes of Hangman Page and Eddie Kingston, and an Interim AEW World Title Eliminator against Jon Moxley. On the indies, Takeshita has went one-on-one with the likes of Davey Richards, Daniel Garcia, 'Speedball' Mike Bailey, Jonathan Gresham, and Josh Alexander.

Peter Pan is ultimately DDT Pro-Wrestling's biggest show of the year and it will take place on August 20 at the Ota City General Gymnasium. Takeshita is a five-time KO-D Openweight Champion in the promotion.
