Kurt Angle Believes WWE 'Took Advantage' Of Kane

Kurt believes Kane was perhaps a little too nice.

Kurt Angle believes WWE may have taken advantage of his fellow Hall of Famer Kane when it came to his character.

Discussing The Big Red Machine during a recent edition of his The Kurt Angle Show podcast, the Olympic gold medallist said:

"I didn't hang out with Glenn that often. He was a really nice guy. You can't say a bad thing about him. Nobody could. He was like the perfect employee. He never got in trouble or anything. He did everything he was told to do. He worked his ass off. I think he was a little too nice. The company kind of took advantage of him. He had a lot more losses than he did wins, and he was a dominant character".

Continuing, Angle noted that Kane was someone other stars had to go through in order to get to the main event, saying:

"He was one of those guys that was in the main event that really made other wrestlers. When you're going up through the ranks, you had to go through Kane. When you beat Kane, that was a big plus on your shoulder and you could continue on knowing that you're a bigger star after you defeated Kane. He was one of the obstacles you had to go through to get to the main event".

Glenn Jacobs continues to make infrequent appearances for WWE. However, the 56-year-old's primary focus is his work as Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
