Kurt Angle Birthday Celebration Set For 12/9 WWE SmackDown
Plus a Tag Team title match
A birthday celebration for Kurt Angle has been announced for next Friday's episode of SmackDown, as well as two matches.
In his hometown of Pittsburgh, Angle will celebrate his 54th birthday in a special ceremony that was announced on this week's SmackDown.
In addition, the Tag Team titles will be on the line, as Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will ostensibly challenge reigning champions The Usos. However, it should be noted that The Usos are defending their titles on Monday's Raw against Matt Riddle and Elias, so card is subject to change.
Also announced is a singles match pitting Shayna Baszler against Shotzi. SmackDown Women's champion Ronda Rousey will corner for Baszler, while Raquel Rodriguez will be at ringside for Shotzi. Rousey defeated Shotzi in a championship match at Survivor Series last Saturday night.
The current card for next Friday's WWE SmackDown, taking place at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, includes the following:
* Unified WWE Tag Team: The Usos (or Matt Riddle and Elias) (c) vs. Drew McIntyre and Sheamus
* Shayna Baszler vs. Shotzi
* Kurt Angle's birthday celebration
