Kurt Angle Has No Plans To Join AEW

Angle also revealed he's working on something with WWE

Kurt Angle says he has no plans of going to All Elite Wrestling, revealing he is working on a project with WWE.

Angle, who retired from in-ring competition at WWE WrestleMania 35, was let go by the promotion as part of the COVID-19 related cutbacks last April, and has previously been linked with Tony Khan's company.

The WWE Hall Of Famer, however, says his relationship with Vince McMahon and the promotion remains strong and is currently collaborating with them on something. Despite exchanging a handful of messages with people from AEW, the Olympic Gold Medallist has no interest of joining them.

Speaking to Hannibal TV, Angle said: "My relationship with WWE is really good and I like to keep it that way. I don’t have any plans of going to AEW. I haven’t really spoke to them that much. Just a couple messages sent back and forth but nothing serious.

"I have something going on with WWE right now and it most likely will materialize. I can’t talk about it but that’s what I’m waiting on and I don’t wanna mess that up. The company’s been so good to me and I wanna be loyal to them."
