Kyle O'Reilly Provides Update On Recovery From injury

Kyle O’Reilly has provided an injury update as he recovers from fusion surgery

Kyle O’Reilly has not been seen in an All Elite Wrestling ring since August 2022, with the former Ring of Honor World Champion having sat on the sidelines due to serious neck injuries.

O’Reilly later underwent fusion surgery, and fans are eagerly awaiting his return, with O’Reilly having last competed in June 2022. The former ReDRagon member has provided an update on his return, posting a video of himself to Instagram doing barbell lunges with the barbell around his neck.

The caption of the post reads: “Getting closer every day...but for now my legs are too sore to move!”

Some have speculated that O’Reilly could be involved with the mysterious Devil who has been wreaking havoc backstage on AEW TV, with O’Reilly’s long association with Adam Cole and Roderick Strong causing some to believe he is the one heading up the attacks, potentially on the behalf of Cole’s new BFF MJF.

O’Reilly signed with AEW in December 2021, forming the Undisputed Elite with Cole and Bobby Fish. Cole himself recently spoke about O'Reilly's long awaited return.
