LA Knight Wants To Be WWE Universal Champion 'Sooner Than Later'
LA Knight wants to become a world champion in the near future in WWE
Although he has only been on the main roster for a little while, LA Knight is already emerging as a ready-made star and one of the most over wrestlers on either Raw or SmackDown right now, with fans connecting to him with the utmost ease, eating into everything he says and does.
LA Knight has been on the receiving end of a lot of losses in recent weeks and months, though he still has his sights set on the heights of championship gold. Speaking on KTAL NBC 6, Knight talked about potential world titles in his future;
"Not only are they looking for me to become world champ sometime soon, but I'm looking to become the WWE Universal Champion sooner than later.”
Knight went on to further talk about potential dream matches and at the prospect of other title gold, not narrowing down his options to just the WWE or Universal Titles.
“Dream matches, you think about people from the past who aren't doing it anymore. There are a couple of those. Everyone is talking about it again, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, that makes me look at Roman Reigns. Even Gunther, with the Intercontinental Championship. Austin Theory for the United States Championship. Any one of those guys, who I could take a piece of gold off of, that would be my dream match."
It is clear that fans are on board with an LA Knight main event push and world title success, and it is more than obvious that LA Knight himself seems himself good enough, though it remains to be seen if WWE will follow through on this.
