The now former AEW star Lady Frost has already found a new home after her contract with Tony Khan's promotion expired on April 1.

Mere hours after entering free agency, Frost revealed that she had signed with Major League Wrestling.

According to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, MLW immediately made a play to sign her upon learning that her contract with AEW had expired.

Speaking with Sapp about her decision to join the MLW roster, Frost said:

"I was only a free agent for a matter of hours, which feels pretty good. Honestly, they called right away and it was the phone call that I think I needed to hear. They have been following me for a long time. I showed up to a taping about six years ago. I wasn't even an extra, just to get my name out there. They remembered me and have been following my journey. I posted, I think, which created a good amount of interest, a promo package and vignette, and they said, ‘We love your work'. I said, ‘That's the direction that I want to go. This is kind of where I see my career going'. They wanted to be on board with letting me be creative and who I want to be as an artist and pro wrestler. So I loved the call and I thought it was a really great fit for right now".

Prior to the announcement of her signing with MLW, Lady Frost addressed her AEW exit in a post on social media, expressing her gratitude towards Tony Khan by writing:

"As of today, I am a free agent. I want to thank @TonyKhan for being an incredibly kind and passionate boss. I had some of the most incredible moments with @AEW and I am so grateful for the years that I spent there. For now, I'm on the hunt. Onto the next…". While Lady Frost may have left AEW, Willie Mack is still with the company, despite some confusion as to his status.
