Lance Archer To Make AEW In-Ring Debut On Next Week's Episode Of Dynamite

The Murderhawk is going hunting...

On February 26, All Elite Wrestling announced they had signed former New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Lance Archer. He was scheduled to make his in-ring debut on the March 4 episode of Dynamite, but AEW decided to scrap those plans in favour of debuting Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

Roberts told Cody Rhodes he had a client to slay "Oh might Caesar" who turned out to be Archer as he made his first appearance alongside the WWE Hall Of Famer on March 11.

Now, Archer is set to finally make his in-ring debut on next week's edition of Dynamite. After The American Nightmare defeated Jimmy Havoc last night, Roberts appeared on the titantron and told him The Murderhawk was "chomping at the bit" to get in the ring. This led Cody to confirm on commentary that Archer will indeed step inside the squared circle next week.

The American Psycho is currently without an opponent, but Cody's own flesh and blood seems to be happy to be slain by the former IWGP United States Champion as Dustin Rhodes called out Archer on Twitter.

The Natural tweeted: "Jake, you don't want none of the #Rhodes fam!! You and your #ChickenHawk @Lance Hoyt!!"

Archer seemed happy with the challenge as he fired back: "@DustinRhodes You'll learn!"
