Latest On Chad Gable's WWE Return

It’s been several months since we last saw Chad Gable compete in a WWE ring, with the former WWE Tag Team Champion having been off TV since June with a shoulder injury.

Gable was written off WWE TV ahead of shoulder surgery with initial reports estimating that Gable could miss six months of ring time. An update from Fightful Select suggests that Gable’s return could be just around the corner, with Gable having recently been training at the WWE Performance Center in preparation for a return.

The hope is that Gable could be cleared to return in time for the Royal Rumble on January 31, if not before. The exact cause of Gable’s injury has not been disclosed, with it believed the American Made leader had been working hurt ‘for some time’ prior to being taken off TV.

Prior to his injury, Gable is believed to have been portraying the masked El Grande Americano, with the gimmick going to Ludwig Kaiser as a result of Gable’s injury. Of course this is all speculation, as the identity of El Grande Americano has been a closely guarded secret for decades.
