Lee Moriarty Signs Full-Time With AEW

The "Apex of Combat" is All Elite

AEW has now confirmed that Lee Moriarty is under a full time deal with the promotion, after tweeting the customary "new signing" graphic on Friday night.

Moriarty wrestled on the "Buy In" portion of AEW Rampage on Friday night in Miami, losing a competitive bout to Bobby Fish.

The six-year pro was originally offered a contract during the September 8 Dynamite/Elevation tapings in Cincinnati, following a loss to Daniel Garcia. Tony Khan spoke highly of Moriarty on Friday's edition of Busted Open Radio, and said that he was under a "developmental deal".

Moriarty has wrestled five matches for AEW since August, including the match with Fish on Friday. Other opponents have included FTR, Joey Janela, and Dante Martin.

Moriarty has wrestled for numerous established indies in recent months, including GCW, PWG, AIW, and MLW (where he wrestled Fish two weeks ago in Philadelphia). Moriarty also wrestled in a six man tag as part of ROH's Death Before Dishonor last month, teaming with John Walters and LSG in a loss to VLNCE UNLTD members Homicide, Chris Dickinson, and Tony Deppen.
