Leilani Kai has undergone full hip replacement surgery.

Kai underwent the procedure on September 18, and later took to X/Twitter to share her condition:

“Just woke up after my hip replacement and feeling amazing! The love, messages, and prayers you all sent meant more to me than words can say. I was scared, but you made sure I never felt alone. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!”

A former Former WWE and NWA Women’s Champion, Kai played a major part in WWE’s explosion in the 80s, with Kai defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Wendi Richter at WrestleMania I in 1985, having defeated Richter for the belt at the historic War to Settle the Score.

Outside of singles competition, Kai is know for her tag team run with Judy Martin, with The Glamour Girls having two runs as WWF Women’s Tag Team Champions in the 1980s, after two runs as NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions in the 1970s.
