Legit Leyla is ‘all elite’

AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Leyla Hirsch has officially signed with AEW.

Hirsch has been wrestling for AEW since October 2020, making 11 appearances across Dynamite and Dark, notably facing Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb, amongst others.

Khan announced the signing on Twitter, saying:

“Congratulations and welcome aboard officially to @LegitLeyla Hirsch, I’m thrilled to have you signed to @AEW! Thank you very much to Leyla and to all of you great fans who support @AEWonTNT for making this possible!”

Hirsch then followed up on her own Twitter account, saying:

“Wow it’s official! So many emotions right now. Thank you to @TonyKhan and @AEW for allowing me to be a part of this amazing team. Now the hard work really begins. #LEGIT”

Hirsch’s signing sees her join an ever increasing AEW Women’s Division, headed up by AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida, and NWA Women’s World Champion Serena Deeb. Outside of AEW, Hirsch has wrestled for Stardom, Shimmer, Beyond Wrestling, WXW, and CZW amongst others.
