Lio Rush Returning To IMPACT Wrestling

Lio Rush heading to IMPACT Wrestling

Lio Rush is set to return to IMPACT Wrestling later this month.

IMPACT have announced the Man of the Hour will be in action at their upcoming Summer Sizzler TV taping on June 23 in Atlanta, Georgia. The show will take place at Center Stage.

Rush made his first appearance in an IMPACT ring earlier this year when he performed at the joint IMPACT and NJPW Multiverse United event on March 30. Rush was defeated by KUSHIDA at the show as The Time Splitter built to his IMPACT World Title match against Steve Maclin at Rebellion.

Rush's primary promotion has been New Japan Pro-Wrestling since November of 2022 and he was recently a part of Best of the Super Jr. 30, although he failed to advance to the semi-finals due to a loss to "Speedball" Mike Bailey on the final day of block matches. Beyond NJPW, Rush has sporadically wrestled for MLW alongside indy appearances.

Rush has previously wrestled for the likes of WWE and All Elite Wrestling.
