Liv Morgan Returns On WWE SmackDown
Liv Morgan is back!
WWE’s women’s tag team division has been handed an extra set of hands as Liv Morgan made her return to WWE programming last night on Friday Night SmackDown. After Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler defeated Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre to become the Undisputed WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, they were met with Raquel Rodriguez who set her sights on the titles she never lost.
Baszler and Rousey mocked Rodriguez for having no partner to be by her side in her title pursuits, before Liv Morgan made her surprise return, realigning with her tag team partner. Morgan has not wrestled in over a month after picking up an injury, which led to her and Rodriguez being forced into vacating the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. All that is known from the injury was Morgan stating it was a “torn shoulder”, though the seriousness of the injury wasn’t made clear.
It looks as though these two teams will go head to head at some point soon, with the Money in the Bank PPV being a likely setting.
