Liv Morgan Vs. Carmella Announced For WWE Extreme Rules

The two faced off in tag action on Friday

Liv Morgan will face Carmella in singles action at Extreme Rules next Sunday, following a challenge that was issued on Friday's SmackDown.

On Friday's show, Morgan teamed with Toni Storm to face Carmella and Zelina Vega, a match that ended via countout after just two minutes.

During the match, Carmella was sent face-first into the middle turnbuckle by Morgan. Carmella then rolled outside the ring and freaked out, claiming that Morgan had broken her nose. She failed to re-enter the ring, taking the countout loss.

Morgan took the mic after the match, saying that she was tired of Carmella running from her. She then issued the challenge for Extreme Rules.

The current card for WWE Extreme Rules, taking place Sunday, September 26 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH is as follows:

* WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. "The Demon" Finn Balor

* SmackDown Women's: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair

* Raw Women's: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Alexa Bliss

* WWE United States: Damian Priest (c) vs. Sheamus

* SmackDown Tag Team: The Usos (c) vs. The Street Profits

* Liv Morgan vs. Carmella
