Logan Paul Loses WWE United States Title To LA Knight At SummerSlam 2024
LA Knight is the new WWE United States Champion following his win at SummerSlam
Oopsies, Logan Paul has lost the WWE United States Championship.
Only days after he spread misinformation on social media, Logan Paul dropped the United States Title to LA Knight in the third match at SummerSlam.
Paul managed to retrieve his patented brass knuckles from Machine Gun Kelly in the closing moments of the match. The United States Champion then decked Knight with the weapon and tried to follow up with a Buckshot Lariat but Knight blocked it and countered with the BFT for the victory.
LA Knight's win ended Logan Paul's United States Title reign after 273 days. Paul won the belt back in November 2023, defeating Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel, but Paul only defended the belt twice before dropping it to LA Knight.
The win was LA Knight’s first title since moving to the main roster in 2022. He enjoyed considerable success outside of WWE as Eli Drake, including one reign as TNA World Champion, but the only title he had won in WWE until SummerSlam was the Million Dollar Championship in NXT.
Logan Paul and LA Knight have been feuding on WWE programming for months and their title match was originally internally planned for Money in the Bank but the company opted to delay the bout until SummerSlam.
