London Mayor Sadiq Khan remains committed to bringing WWE WrestleMania to London, England.

Within a report about top sporting events taking place in London in 2024, it was stated:

"Building on London's success, the Mayor has talked up his ambition to bring more of the biggest sporting events in the world to London. Sadiq has expressed his support for a bid for the Olympics and Paralympics to return to London in 2040, while he remains committed to making London WrestleMania's first international destination."

WrestleMania has only ever taken place in North America since the first WrestleMania in 1985. Major pro wrestling events to take place in London, though, include WWE SummerSlam 1992 and AEW All In 2023 & 2024.

Sadiq Khan pledged to set up a taskforce to explore bringing WrestleMania to London as part of his re-election campaign. Khan then met with WWE CCO Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan in July 2024 to discuss the prospect of WrestleMania in London.

WrestleMania wouldn't be able to take place in London until 2027 at the earliest due to 2026's WrestleMania 42 already being announced for New Orleans.
