'Love Her Or Lose Her' Match Set For August 3 WWE NXT

The love saga that has been rolling on for most of 2021 is set to come to a head on next week’s edition of WWE NXT, as Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis will face off in a ‘Love Her or Lose Her’ match.
The ‘her’ in question is of course The Way’s Indi Hartwell, and after months of romance teased between her and the off-kilter Lumis, Dexter will have his chance to date the former NXT Women’s tag Champion if he beats Johnny Wrestling. However, if Lumis loses then Hartwell will have to break all ties with him.
The match was proposed on last night’s NXT by Hartwell herself, after Gargano and Candice LeRae were upset at Indi accepting a gift of a drawing from Dexter - the drawing in question had Dexter as a part of The Way.
So far four matches have been announced for next week’s edition of NXT on August 3:
• Johnny Gargano vs. Dexter Lumis - Love Her or Lose Her match
• Trey Baxter vs. Joe Gacy - NXT Breakout Tournament first-round match
• Bobby Fish vs. Roderick Strong
• Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante "Thee" Adonis) vs. Legado del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde)
