Ludwig Kaiser Injured On WWE Raw

Ludwig Kaiser was on the receiving end of an injury on Monday Night Raw.

According to WrestleVotes, the belief is Kaiser sustained an injury during his match with Bron Breakker. PWInsider noted that Kaiser was being checked out by WWE's medical team backstage following the match. The exact nature of Kaiser's injury is unknown beyond that he was favouring one of his arms and his side following a suplex. 

Kaiser has been in the Intercontinental Title picture in recent weeks but the match on Raw ended in a DQ after Sheamus came out through the crowd and attacked Kaiser. Bron Breakker then laid out Sheamus and Kaiser post-match. 

It was later announced backstage that Sami Zayn will defend the Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank against Bron Breakker, with the match being made official following a confrontation between Zayn and the Dog-Faced Gremlin. 

Ludwig Kaiser remains a member of Imperium with Gunther but he has been featured as a singles talent on Monday Night Raw since he turned on Giovanni Vinci in April. Prior to his DQ win over Breakker, Kaiser defeated Sheamus on the June 3 episode of Raw.
