PWG’s second event since their triumphant return is in the books, and as seen at Threemendous 6, there are new PWG Tag Team Champions in the shape of Malakai Black and Brody King. The titles were left vacant after former champions The Rascalz (now known as MSK) joined WWE NXT, and after teaming at Mystery Vortex to fight off Flamita and Black Taurus, Black and King took things one step further by defeating Flamita and Taurus for the gold.

Whilst the team of Black and King is exciting for fans, it is destined to be exclusive to PWG for now, with Black being on the AEW roster, and King working for ROH, as well as appearing for NJPW Strong.

King has mentioned he’d like to take the team to other promotions in the future, telling Sean Waltman on Pro Wrestling 4 Life:

“For the time being, I think it’s definitely exclusive to PWG, but I like to push the boundaries a little bit. Even if, I don’t know what’s allowed and what’s not - I just kinda play within the bounds that I’m given. But it’s really awesome to go to New Japan, to be able to work guys like the Good Brothers, so you have this like IMPACT, Ring of Honor, New Japan, AEW-thing and then the thing that me and Malakai are doing,” King explained, “we get to bend the rules a little bit without breaking them. But I would love for there to be some kind of quote-on-quote ‘forbidden door’ opening to where we can all just go crazy and give the fans what they want.”
