The AEW star topped off a night of surprises
Aug 2, 2021
Pro Wrestling Guerilla Mystery Vortex 7 was a much anticipated affair, with the cult California indie returning to live crowds for the first time since December 2019.
In a night of surprises and returns including Super Dragon, the biggest surprise was reserved until the end of the night, when Tommy End/Malakai Black made his return to PWG.
After Super Dragon, Demonic Flamita, and Black Taurus laid waste to PWG World Champion Bandido, the lights went out in The Globe Theatre, only to come back on and show a returning End, before Brody king joined him in warding off Super Dragon and co.
Tommy took the mic and said he’d be back on September 26 for PWG’s next show Threemendous, with Brody King adding that he’ll go wherever Tommy goes.
End last worked for PWG in 2016, with his last match at the Battle of Los Angeles, a ten-man tag pitting End with Cedric Alexander, Chuck Taylor, Jeff Cobb, and Jushin Thunder Liger against Brian Kendrick, Matt Riddle, Pete Dunne, Sami Callihan and Tommaso Ciampa.
