Mariah May Wins AEW Women's World Title At All In

May defeats Toni Storm to win the title

Mariah May is the new AEW Women's World champion, after defeating Toni Storm at AEW All In on Sunday night at London's Wembley Stadium.

Late in the match, May introduced the bloody shoe into the match, but Storm managed to gain control of it. She teased striking May with the shoe, but couldn't bring herself to do it. Storm then attempted Storm Zero, but May countered with a jackknife cradle, before landing several charging knee strikes and finishing Storm with her own Storm Zero to win the title.

Mina Shirakawa was shown in the crowd during the match. Mariah's mother was also in the crowd, and was struck by her own daughter at one juncture.

The fans at Wembley applauded Storm after the match.

May becomes the ninth women's World champion in AEW history. Aside from winning this year's women's Owen Hart Foundation Cup, this is May's first championship in AEW.

Storm's third reign as AEW Women's World champion ends at 281 days. She won the title from Hikaru Shida on November 18, 2023 at AEW Full Gear in Inglewood, CA.
