Mark Henry's AEW Deal To Expire This Month

Will Henry remain All Elite?

Mark Henry's AEW contract is set to expire this month, according to a new report by Fightful Select.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp was told that Henry's AEW deal will expire in May, though it was not stated whether he would re-sign with Tony Khan's organisation or go elsewhere.

The WWE Hall of Famer joined AEW in 2021, making his debut at that year's Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 30, indicating that he signed a three-year deal at the time.

While The World's Strongest Man's on-screen role has mainly been as an interviewer/personality on Rampage, he has had other roles in the company behind-the-scenes. The 52-year-old has worked variously as an analyst, coach, scout and mentor during his time in AEW. He also helped expand their community outreach programme.

The currently-injured Powerhouse Hobbs in one AEW star who has hailed Henry's influence on his career.

Away from AEW, Henry is a frequent co-host on Busted Open Radio.

He last wrestled at WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018 (where he was a participant in the titular match) and hasn't had a singles match since 2017. Henry appeared to rule out a return to the ring in December 2021.
