Masha Slamovich Signs With MLW

Masha Slamovich made her debut for Major League Wrestling on Saturday, September 12 and it has been confirmed that the former TNA Knockouts World Champion has signed with MLW.

Slamovich actually put pen to paper on a deal with MLW in early July, with the plan all along being for her to join CONTRA Unit and begin a programme with Shotzi Blackheart, Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported.

That programme began at the MLW Fightland taping on September 12 in Charleston, South Carolina as Slamovich made her debut as the newest member of the heel faction by attacking Clara Carter. Slamovich then replaced Carter in her scheduled match against Lady Frost and went on to defeat the former AEW talent. In the MLW Fusion portion of the taping, Slamovich interrupted a Shotzi Blackheart promo and subsequently defeated Shotzi for the MLW Women's World Featherweight Championship.

Masha Slamovich had been a free agent since her TNA contract expired in October 2025, although the promotion stopped booking the Russian-American wrestler in September of last year following allegations of domestic abuse against Slamovich by her former partner AKIRA. Slamovich issued a statement on the allegations, claiming they were in a "toxic and mutually destructive" relationship.

Prior to signing with MLW, Slamovich continued to perform on the indies in 2026 and she also wrestled two matches in Japan for Marvelous.
