Matt Hardy Clarifies Injury Status Following AAA TripleMania XXX: Tijuana

Matt Hardy is not out of action with an injury

While Matt Hardy did not make an appearance on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion clarified that he is not dealing with an injury.

Taking to Twitter, Hardy wrote: "Sorry to disappoint, but I'm all good, ladies & gentlemen. I was at #AEWDynamite tonight & am good to go. Also, I loved & enjoyed my #TripleMania30 match for @luchalibreaaa. Thanks, TJ!"

It was reported following AAA TripleMania XXX: Tijuana on June 18 that Hardy was banged-up but it was not known if he had picked up a long-term injury. The 47-year-old teamed with John Morrison (wrestling as Johnny Hardy) in the main event of the show against Dragon Lee and Dralistico. The Hardys ultimately lost the match after Johnny Hardy turned on his brother for the night.

While Matt may not be injured, AEW have been hit with the injury bug in recent weeks and the likes of Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, The Bunny, Buddy Mattews, Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Scorpio Sky are dealing with various issues.
