Matt Hardy Criticises Airport Autograph Seekers For 'Taking Advantage' Of Jeff Hardy

Matt Hardy has defended brother Jeff after the latter was accosted by airport autograph hunters.

Matt Hardy has taken to Twitter to criticise airport autograph hunters after a video emerged showing his brother Jeff Hardy being approached at an airport by people with many items to sign.

Matt stated: "Jeff doesn't actively look at anything on Twitter unless he has something to post, so I'm gonna address this. This is def taking advantage of Jeff's kindness. If you see a wrestler in an airport & ask for an autograph or 2, that's acceptable. This isn't. Not appropriate or cool."

The Hardys are both currently signed to AEW, with Jeff recently making a return to TV after a period in rehabilitation, teaming with Matt in recent appearances. The pair partnered with HOOK to beat Ethan Page and The Gunns on the Double or Nothing pre-show, and also defeated The Firm in a cinematic 'Firm Deletion' match on the May 5 edition of Rampage.

The Hardys remain involved in a storyline with Ethan Page, with the latter having been forced to join their stable after the loss at Double or Nothing.
