Matt Hardy Provides Update On Jeff Hardy's AEW Future

We're getting close to learning about Jeff's in-ring future

AEW star Matt Hardy has provided an update on his brother Jeff's future.

Responding to a fan on Twitter (who expressed sadness that he wasn't on the All Out card), Matt wrote:

"It's all good. Tonight's #AEWAllOut is gonna be an epic PPV. It's a stacked @AEW card. We're getting close to learning my brother's future, so I'll be taking a definitive direction soon. I'm extremely excited to get on a path so I can haul & kick ass".

Jeff hasn't been seen in an AEW ring since Double or Nothing on May 31. On June 13, he was arrested in Volusia County, Florida and charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license and violating restrictions placed on a driver's license.

The next day, Jeff was suspended without pay by AEW. Per Tony Khan, he was told he was not able to return to the company until he completes a substance abuse rehabilitation programme and maintains his sobriety. Jeff subsequently pleaded 'not guilty' to the charges.

The Hardys were due to compete in a three-team ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Titles on the June 15 episode of Dynamite. Reports suggested they were due to win the match and the titles.
