Matt Hardy: WWE Fans No Longer Trust "Let It Play Out"

Matt Hardy isn't a fan of 'let it play out'

From the main roster debut of Karrion Kross to RETRIBUTION to Nikki A.S.H to Alexa Bliss' therapy vignettes, WWE's recent history is littered with 'let it play out' scenarios that have ultimately left fans underwhelmed.

Matt Hardy discussed this on his podcast and the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion thinks WWE have lost the trust of their fans.

"I feel like with WWE now, if you hear that expression, 'let it play out,' they've kind of burnt their trust with their consumers, with their fans. I just don't think people trust them anymore because there have been so many times where people were patient and they waited for it to play out, and it just never did. I think they just lost trust with wrestling fans when it comes to that," Matt said.

Matt is currently with All Elite Wrestling and he recently reformed The Hardys with brother Jeff. The Charismatic Enigma's booking was recently criticised, though, and Matt gave his thoughts on the situation on Twitter.
