Matt Riddle Returns On WWE Raw After WrestleMania 39

Matt Riddle is back on WWE TV!

After being spotted in Los Angeles, California ahead of the show, Matt Riddle did indeed show up on the post-WrestleMania 39 edition of Monday Night Raw from Crypto.com Arena.

Riddle's return came about following a Miz promo in which the two-time WWE Champion complained about having to face Pat McAfee, Shane McMahon, and Snoop Dogg at WrestleMania 39, as well as having to take a Clothesline from George Kittle on night one of the Showcase of the Immortals. The Miz then said he was done with surprises which, of course, led to the surprise return of Riddle, who almost immediately fell over after riding his scooter down the ramp.

Upon entering the ring, The Miz attacked Riddle from behind but the former Raw Tag Team Champion ended up standing tall after decking Miz with a Ripcord Knee and the Bro Derek.

Riddle had been off WWE TV since the December 5, 2022 edition of Monday Night Raw after being taken out by Solo Sikoa. It was stated by WWE at the time that Riddle would only be gone for six weeks, with reports later claiming that WWE had sent Riddle to rehab after a failed drug test.

Riddle's WWE suspension came to an end earlier this year but he remained off TV until his return tonight.
