Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide action figures will reportedly be arriving later this year.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that Mattel has been given the green light to create a number of figures related to the AAA brand. How many figures are currently in the works is unknown but Mr. Iguana has been prioritised for an action figure. The current target date for the figures to be released is the autumn of 2026.

WWE and Fillip co-own AAA and have done so since 2025, with the planned acquisition of the Lucha Libre promotion being announced at WrestleMania 41. The deal has seen talent cross over between WWE and AAA, including the likes of Mr. Iguana, La Parka, and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr, while WWE wrestlers like Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano (Kaiser version) have become popular additions to AAA.

WWE and Mattel have worked together on action figures since 2010 and the two companies agreed to a multi-year extension to their global licensing agreement in 2025.

Mattel Chief Franchise Officer Josh Silverman said at the time: "Our longstanding partnership with WWE has resulted in some of the most celebrated action figures in the industry. As we extend this agreement, we are committed to delivering authentic, high-quality products that capture the energy and larger-than-life personalities of WWE for fans across the globe."
