Pro wrestling is a dangerous profession and Bron Breakker proved it on the first episode of Monday Night Raw of 2026 as he ended up landing on the top of his head following a botched frankensteiner in the main event.

Breakker challenged CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship in the final match of Raw, but the frankensteiner went wrong after Breakker completely missed Punk on the move, which resulted in the rough landing.

Breakker was immediately checked by the referee and he was able to continue with the match, which ultimately ended with a successful title defence for CM Punk following a GTS.

Breakker was checked by WWE's medical team following Monday Night Raw and he has since been cleared, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has reported.

The rough landing came just several weeks after Breaker landed on his neck following a doomsday device from CM Punk and Cody Rhodes during the men's WarGames match at Survivor Series. On that occasion, Breakker was also checked by WWE's medical team and cleared.

While he didn't win the World Heavyweight Title on Raw, Breakker still looks set to have a positive 2026 and be involved in a headline match at WrestleMania 42.
