Men's Brackets Announced For WWE Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
Eights teams will vie for the honor
The brackets are now set for the 2022 men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, which will kick off on Tuesday's NXT broadcast.
WWE revealed the brackets on Sunday afternoon. The winners will challenge Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner of Imperium for the NXT Tag Team titles, at a date to be revealed.
The quarterfinal round matches include:
* MSK (Wes Lee and Nash Carter) vs. Jacket Time (Kushida and Ikemen Jiro)
* Legado del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde) vs. Malik Blade and Edris Enofe
* The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus) vs. Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen
* Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) vs. Chase U (Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward)
MSK were last year's men's Dusty Classic winners, defeating Jake Atlas and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Drake Maverick and Killian Dain, and Legado del Fantasma before going on to defeat Grizzled Young Veterans in the finals.
The women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is set to begin in February. Last year's tournament was won by Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez, who defeated Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart in the finals.
